MIDI-B | drums may 2015.

General information

Ding, dong, clack!

The MIDI-B is a MIDI drum controller which is based on the Teensy 3.1 microcontroller development system.

You can play bunch of different real-time VST (Virtual Studio Technology) instruments like Hydrogen, Studio Drummer, Addictive Drums and many others. There are two ways to connect the MIDI-B to the computer: via USB or via MIDI port.

MIDI-B has 19 velocity sensitive pads. You can adjust each pad to play the note you want. The front panel layout fits my needs, but you can make your own.

This is the short demonstration how the MIDI-B works.

You can find the latest firmware for this project on my GitHub repository.
